Guarantors

What is a Guarantor?

A guarantor is someone who agrees to pay your rent if you are unable to do so, such as a parent, guardian, or close relative. If you fail to make your rent payments, your landlord or letting agent can ask your guarantor to pay the outstanding amount instead.

To be eligible, a guarantor must have an annual income of at least three times the annual rent and be in full-time employment.

Some letting agencies require a guarantor to be a homeowner. However, this is not a requirement at Collective Property Co.

Do I need a guarantor?

We require all tenants to provide a UK-based Guarantor to qualify and meet the application requirements.
